Popular 80's street artist, Keith Haring took New York City by storm with his infamous subway drawings. Dedicated to creating public art that would reach mass appeal Haring was widely known for creating art that evoked social change like the 1986 NYC 'CRACK IS WACK' mural. 

 In 1986 Haring was diagnosed with AIDS and in 1989 Haring created the Keith Haring Foundation in an effort to provide funding to various AIDS foundations through exhibitions and the sales of his art work. In his ladder years, Haring devoted his time to spreading AIDS awareness. Dee and Ricky Accessories 

  I've always equated the creation of ANYTHING with legos to be a special art. Fashion   knows Dee and Ricky best for their 2008 collaboration with Marc Jacobs spring runway show. Their lego belts and headbands were like the must have of the Spring 08  season. For the rest of the world you've probably seen Kanye sporting a big red heart  pin  after the release of 808 Heart Break. Nonetheless, Dee and Ricky aren't given as much credit as they should be given for their cute collectable lego pieces. With bow ties clips, headbands, belt clips, brooches, and such - Dee and Ricky's accessories has contributed pop art to fashion and as an artistic expressions of fashion I believe their pieces are classic and an absolute must have.
